FounderLink
Achieve Growth by Sharing Notes from the Editor... A couple of years ago, the Founder Region Public Relations Committee was asked to publish a newsletter, and I volunteered for the job, not really understanding that it would be an online newsletter. What a surprise I received! I had been writing news, along with editing and publishing print newsletters for years, and enjoyed it. But when the realization struck that this was to be an electronic newsletter, panic set in. My knowledge of electronic media was pretty much limited to sending emails to family and friends, playing games, and doing online research. Finally realizing that I needed to fulfill my commitment to Founder Region, I buckled down and FounderLink was born. To say that this has been a learning experience is an understatement. Thanks to the help of our very understanding and helpful Webmaster, Diane Allen, and the encouragement of Governor Mary Ann, Past Governor Carol, and all the members of Founder Region Public Relation Committee, and the contributors, we are now in our second volume of these online newsletters published on the Founder Region web site. This marks my last edition as editor. With the publication of this edition, the reins are being passed to Lee Ray McDoniels who is going to be a wonderful editor/publisher of FounderLink. I am sure that all of you will join me in wishing him much success with this undertaking and help him in the transition. I know that his editorship is going to be an asset for Founder Region. I would like to take this opportunity to wish you all a wonderful holiday season and especially to thank you all for making this "long strange trip" such a great adventure.
