DatavastInc. is a company based in China that manufactures and sells cloudstorage products. This is relatively a new form of storing that thecompany is looking to introduce to the market. The company hasidentified SME’s as their target market. This is after doing aresearch and finding out that majority of small companies were usingold ways of storing data and were unable to afford integrated systemsused by large corporations.

DatavastInc. is likely to face a lot of problems marketing their productsince it’s a new product in the market. The company will be forcedto engage in a lot of promotional activities to make sure theyconvince their target market to take up their product.

However,being a new product, the company will not face a lot of completion.The company’s product is one of a kind that has been carefullythought of to solve the existing issues affecting most businesseswhen it comes to storing their data. The company will, therefore,enjoy the monotony of having a tailor made product to solve theseneeds.

DatavastInc., however, needs to come up with a price package that will not betoo expensive for their customers. From their research, it hademerged that most small companies were not able to afford theintegrated system of storing data used by large corporations due toits price. Datavast needs to come up with a price package that willenable them make a profit to sustain their operations and also makesure that their suppliers also make a good mark up to encourage themto market the product on behalf of Datavast.
